Horrendous rental experience.
There is literally no light in the area where my storage unit was located.
Called head office several times over several months asking to get this fixed and nothing was done. Would drive in from Barrie/Orillia to “access“ my storage and couldn’t do anything because there was no lights.
Waste of time, waste of gas, waste of resources, waste of money…
Ended up just moving out of the storage facility. Even better news. There’s a mouse infestation and all my belongings are soaked in mouse urine and feces.
When approaching the manager about this dilemma, he simply said there’s no refunds.
Spending several hundred dollars every month just to be denied access to my belongings, and when finally retrieving them, they’re covered in faeces and urine.
A lot of my belongings I just had to get rid of and even better news. I now also have a new roommate. Some of the mice decided to jump ship in my clothing and are now happily relocated in my place!
Seriously, I can literally hear them squeaking now.
They should have an offer for live release mouse traps.
Thank you access storage for not allowing me to retrieve anything from my storage and allowing mice to overrun everything
I guess it’s simply whatever festers in the dark?
As well, if you are going to move anytime close to the beginning/end of every month. Please note, there is only two parking spaces at the bay doors.
Hundreds of units all sharing two spaces.

If I could give this place negative stars I would!
The manager as well is useless, Can’t even repair a lightbulb after four months!
Got my access code wrong as well, and to be honest, rather difficult to deal with, as everything seems to have to be on his terms.
And the result is no light.
Avoid this place like the plague. Literally! If I remember correctly, it was mice who started several pandemics!

When the manager or owner, responds to this review, I’m doubting he will explain the rationale of why he can’t or won’t fix a light for 4+ months, allowing a mouse infestation having all my stuff ruined while paying thousands of dollars for this “service”? He will not address the issue and simply regurgitate the usual BS.

As I wake up with my nostrils inflamed and the stench of mouse feces/urine wafting in the air, (wow! Mother first night in a new place!)
I can only hope the manger’s soothing corporate words of wisdom will be a balm to my pains.
Perhaps taking responsibility for the breach of contract for not providing any light or pest maintenance may make a for a thought.
Why did I pay thousands of dollars for this?
Any other readers feel the corporate script loses it potency when they clearly show they don’t care and do nothing for months and months.
