I’ve been using SmartShop Self Storage at 1450 Don Mills Rd for about a month now, and I’m really impressed.
The facility looks great and is well-lit, with two large elevators that operate like the ones you find in condos, making it easy to move items between the three floors. All areas are accessible, which is a big plus.
The storage units are also well-lit, and the metallic roll-up doors are convenient to operate. The loading dock and parking area at the back make loading and unloading straightforward.
The pricing is excellent. I got a good deal and decided to pay for a year in advance, which worked out well for me.
The staff, especially Bhagya at this location and Minoli, the area manager from Markham, were professional and courteous. They took the time to explain the contract, payment expectations, and what to expect for future price adjustments.
The facility is also easily accessible by TTC public transit, which is a bonus.
One suggestion: it would be helpful if they provided prospective customers with a copy of the contract to review before signing up. This would allow people to compare terms with other storage businesses, which isn’t something many offer.
Overall, I recommend SmartShop Self Storage for anyone looking for storage solutions. The combination of a well-maintained facility, professional staff, and great pricing makes it a solid choice.
